There are a ton of perks to traveling domestically within the United States, but I sometimes overlook it in favor of a “more cultural” experience. Boy, have my eyes been opened- you can find cool experiences and culture most places you go! Definitely don’t overlook cities in the US when planning your next family vacation.

- Time Constraints: Short on vacation days? Travel domestically for a day, long weekend, or week.

- Culture and History: You can still get a cultural experience (I mean, have you noticed the difference between West Coast and East Coast folks?! just kidding…kindof)

- Food: The USA is a food melting pot- you will always find something for everyone
