Europe is for the Kids!

Traveling with kids doesn’t have to be limited to the USA!

We LOVED traveling within Europe before having a baby, and wanted to share that love with our daughter, too!  Our first trip to Europe with Claire was when she was still an infant, at 14 weeks old.  We did a beautiful tour of Italy- a first time for all three of us!

Reasons Why You Should Travel to Europe with Kids:

  • Language Barrier: Yes, this is actually a reason why you SHOULD travel abroad.  It’s really exciting to be surrounded by a different language, and fun for the whole family to learn together- even if its only a couple of words here and there!  Europeans are awesome at teaching multiple languages in school, so most will speak some basic English- at least enough to get your points across.
  • The History: It’s wild to think that most places in Europe are older than our country is!  It’s truly humbling.
  • The Culture: Any where you go in Europe has so much culture- the people, the art, the music, the food- I could go on and on.  There is never a shortage of cool and interesting experiences for you and your kids- even in the most mundane tasks!
  • Safety: most places within Europe are typically very safe for Americans to travel to
  • The Healthcare: Europe is full of developed countries with great doctors, so should you or your child get sick, you will be in good hands
  • Convenience:  It’s so easy to see so much- within Europe, it’s easy to see multiple countries in one trip because they are so close to each other.  Plus, traveling between them- whether it’s a short flight, train or driving is a breeze.
  • The Food:  Who doesn’t love to try new foods?  Even your kids will find something new and interesting to eat… don’t forget, kids in other countries eat, too you know!
  • Why not?!  Traveling abroad is a truly memorable experience for the whole family, that won’t easily be forgetten over time.
